The Girls Who Code x Hiatt Career Center workshop, Code Your Future: Build, Review, and Shine, is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to successfully navigate the tech recruitment process. This hands-on event will provide guidance on crafting standout resumes and portfolios, acing technical and behavioral interviews, and leveraging networking opportunities to secure job and internship placements. The workshop will cover multiple career paths in the tech industry, including Software Engineering, Product Management, UI/UX Design, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Tech Consulting, ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds can find a role that fits their skills and interests. Participants will engage in interactive sessions, including resume reviews, mock interviews, and real-world case studies, while gaining valuable insights from experienced mentors. We will provide boba for this event. This initiative aims to empower students with the resources and confidence to break into the tech industry, regardless of their level of experience.
