Mission
Founded in 2023, Brandeis Angling Student Society has two goals. First, we want to provide anglers, old and new, access to free fishing in the Waltham area. We fish once a month and provide members with the licenses, poles, and tackle so students can fish along the Charles river. Secondly, wait to use BASS to provide our members with life skills that are found in fishing. The three skills people will learn are knot-tying, environmental responsibility, and most importantly, patience. Through such skills, members of BASS can become independent and responsible anglers.
