Speed Friending

This event will provide an excellent opportunity for first-years and other Brandeis students to meet and connect with each
other and business professionals in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Through icebreaker activities, students will
engage with peers they may not otherwise meet, fostering new relationships and offering a chance to become more familiar
with our club members. Following the success of our previous speed friending event with schools like Babson, Wellesley,
and Lasell, we aim to expand our network by including more schools like Bentley and continue offering opportunities for
students to connect with others in the greater Boston community. The event will conclude with a cookout-style meal, allowing
meaningful conversations to take place in a relaxed setting, reflecting the cultural significance of food in the Black community.
Ultimately, this event will not only strengthen ties within our club and the Brandeis community but also open doors for future
collaborations with other organizations, making Brandeis a more inclusive space for all, especially BIPOC students.
