Details

Some of the earliest forms of soap, known as saboon in Arabic, were first used by the Sumerians, Babylonians (in present-day Iraq), and Egyptians. This tradition spread across the Middle East, and to this day, traditional soap-making remains a craft in the Levant. To relax during midterm season and unwind after Iftar, join BNAS and BTW for a hands-on saboon-making session—you’ll get to take your creation home!
