7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
The Sherman dining hall will be open for breakfast and lunch.
Note: The Kosher Kitchen in Sherman will be closed on Saturday.
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Join your iREPs for coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts to start the day! So much has been shared with you over the last two days. Join your iREPs and other new students for a morning of snacks, activities, and socializing.
11:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Board the bus to Boston at 11am for a sightseeing tour of the Charles River and to do some shopping! Students will receive a colored wristband to indicate whether they will board the cruise at 12pm, 1pm, or 2pm, and will be free to explore the local shops while not on the boat. Be sure to arrive at the bus at Spingold Theater by 11am!
3:00 PM – 3:00 PM
If you plan to return to campus, the bus will leave Cambridgeside Place at 3pm after the last cruise.
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Have a delicious breakfast before the day of IWD sessions begins!
9:15 AM – 10:45 AM
Meet key Brandeis administration, staff, and faculty who are going to support you during your time at Brandeis University.
10:45 AM – 11:00 AM
A brief introduction will be provided about inSTEP, the International Student Experience Project. This program introduces students to the many campus partners and resources available to you. Learn from an experienced iREP and current student about how these resources can support you!
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
During the resource fair, you will have an opportunity to connect with many different campus resources and get to know staff and students who are excited to share with you how they can support you during your time at Brandeis!
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Explore the lunch options with your iREP and IWD group!
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
This session is mandatory for all students in F-1 and J-1 status. Students will learn about the immigration regulations to follow to maintain their status in the U.S.
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Join our iREPs and other domestic students who may live outside of the continental U.S. for a special interest group session!
2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Build connections with your iREPs and fellow students! During this time, students will have different opportunities to learn about life at Brandeis and connect with other students.
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
A bus will take you to Target in Watertown so you can make quick essential purchases and/or pick up online orders if you shopped online.

6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Join your iREPs for badminton, basketball, and more at the Gosman Athletic Center. You can find your iREPs in Shapiro Gym (upstairs) and the indoor tennis courts. Please note the main court will be closed for other university events.
You can find basketballs, rackets, and birdies in the gym. Bring your own net if needed. (No tape on the floor please!) Don't forget to bring your Brandeis ID.
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Join your iREPs for giant chess, ladder ball, and more, on the Shapiro Campus Center (SCC) lawn.
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Check-in and pick up your room key with the ISSO and DCL. Then, head to your new room with our iREP team!
During your check-in, come visit Academic Services and receive your copy of On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, a novel by Ocean Vuong. All new students receive a book each year as part of a grant from the Helen and Philip Brecher family. There will be several opportunities throughout the academic year to reflect on the book with your peers and Brandeis faculty members. We look forward to meeting you and giving you this gift!
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Staff from the Brandeis Student Health Center will be available to answer your questions about health insurance and vaccinations.
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Head to the Shapiro Campus Center (SCC) Atrium to learn about options to open a U.S. bank account and/or set up a cell phone plan. Be sure to bring your passport.
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Get to know your new home while one of the iREPs leads you on a campus tour!
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
A bus will take you to Target in Watertown so you can make quick essential purchases and/or pick up online orders if you shopped online. If you miss the last bus, please use a RideShare app like Uber or Lyft to return to campus!
