Take Back the Night is a powerful, supportive event dedicated to raising awareness about sexual violence, amplifying survivor voices, and fostering community solidarity. The evening will begin at The Rabb steps, where attendees will gather in reflection before marching through campus to reclaim public spaces, concluding at the Lights of Reason. In the SCC MPR, attendees will hear from survivor speakers, student staff at PARC, and music from Brandeis’ Starving Artists acapella group. We will join in creating a safe and affirming environment for healing and empowerment. Confidential Peer Educators from PARC and other professional resources will be present to offer support and guidance as well as information on available services and ways to take action. Through storytelling, shared experiences, and collective resilience, Brandeis’s Take Back the Night will be a powerful stand against gender-based violence, inspiring action, fostering healing, and reaffirming our commitment to creating a safer, more supportive community. The evening will conclude with light refreshments, providing attendees with a space to connect, reflect, and find support.
