What is PHKC?

Prospect Hill Kids’ Club (PHKC) provides a safe and productive after-school program that promotes academics, leadership, and a sense of community for the children who reside in the Prospect Hill community. PHKC will be responsible for recruiting, training, and transporting Waltham Group volunteers to and from the program. This after-school program offers recreation and education to children in kindergarten through eighth grade residing in Prospect Hill Terrace, a subsidized housing development. Weeks are structured around themes such as science, healthy living, and life skills. PHKC provides students with healthy snacks, homework help, fun activities, and an extensive library. The program runs five days a week from 2:45 to 5:30 p.m. during each academic semester.
