About Us

Simpliciter, Brandeis's undergraduate journal of philosophy, aims to recognize excellent works of philosophy produced by undergraduates. Founded on the belief that philosophy matters, Simpliciter aims to amplify the voices of the newest generation of philosophers, and present a fresh perspective on the fundamental questions that have challenged us for millennia. Simpliciter's editors meet to read, discuss, and edit submissions to the journal, with the goal of producing a quality journal that is published yearly at the end of the spring semester. Becoming an editor is a great way to exercise one's own philosophical thinking and writing skills, as well as to engage with other students of philosophy.
