Melody Mentors: Youth Music Workshop Series

Melody Mentors is a collaborative mentorship initiative hosted by Basement Records in partnership with Africano Waltham. This program is a three-session workshop series that pairs Brandeis student mentors with middle and high school students for hands-on music production, songwriting, and recording sessions. The program is designed to empower young creatives by providing access to digital music tools, mentorship from college creatives.

Each session focuses on a different stage:
• Session 1 – Introduction to Logic & Beat Making
• Session 2 – Songwriting & Collaboration
• Session 3 – Recording & Mini Showcase

This event involves minors and complies with Brandeis University's Protection of Minors Policy. All mentors complete required background checks and safety training prior to participation. Attendance is limited to pre-registered Africano Waltham students and approved Brandeis mentors.
