About Us
The Brandeis University Greek Awareness Council is dedicated to fostering a harmonious relationship between Greek organizations and the university administration. As a liaison, we strive to promote open communication, understanding, and collaboration among all stakeholders. Our mission is to empower and support Greek organizations in upholding their values while adhering to university policies and regulations. GAC is committed to the personal and professional growth of its members through comprehensive bystander training. By equipping our members with the knowledge and skills to intervene effectively, we aim to create a safe and inclusive environment within the Greek community. We believe that every member has the responsibility to be an active bystander, promoting a culture of respect, consent, and accountability. In addition, we take pride in organizing community outreach events that foster positive relationships and contribute to the betterment of the broader Brandeis community. By engaging in collaborative initiatives, we seek to promote unity, inclusivity, and social responsibility. GAC stands as an advocate for Greek organizations, supporting their endeavors while serving as a bridge between them and the university administration. Through our commitment to education, empowerment, and community engagement, we strive to cultivate a thriving and socially conscious Greek community at Brandeis University.
