About Us

Junior Brandeis Achievers (JBA) provides free after school programming at Stanley Elementary School and Plympton Elementary School one day each week for five weeks in the fall and spring. Every semester, Brandeis volunteers lead a variety of clubs that engage Stanley and Plympton students in activities such as cooking, art and science. JBA is perfect for anyone who loves working with kids or is thinking about becoming a teacher. We're always looking for volunteers who want to share their love for science, cooking, art, and more with kids in a classroom setting. JBA is also great for the Brandeis Clubs in Service initiative. We appreciate our current partnerships with Brandeis Prosthesis Club and Society for Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE), and we look forward to building new relationships with other clubs willing to provide volunteers and help create lesson plans for a semester-long program.
