Our mission is to educate about and celebrate Slavic traditions, recipes, heritage and culture with the Brandeis Community. We provide a space for all students: both those who are interested in learning about the post-Soviet world and history, and those students who speak Slavic languages and come from Slavic backgrounds.
The benefits of being a member of our club include accessing and interacting with Russian culture as a real living thing. In Russian classes at Brandeis, we often read about Russian culture in textbooks and talk about it but coming to our events allows members to really experience it. In addition, members can use our club as an immersive language learning space, however, our club is open to all levels.
