Frequently Asked Questions and Troubleshooting

Do I need to be a Brandeis student to request a promotion code?

No, any student currently enrolled at a nationally recognized university can request a promotion code. However, the number of discount codes we can distribute to non-Brandeis students is limited. Depending on how many Brandeis vs. non-Brandeis students have already received codes in a given year, the current Brandeis Ikon Representative will make the final decision on additional code distribution.

What’s the difference between the Ikon Pass and the Ikon Base Pass?

The Ikon Pass offers broader access to more resorts, comes with additional benefits, and has no blackout dates, making it the more flexible option. The Ikon Base Pass is more affordable but includes blackout dates, limited access, and covers slightly fewer mountains.

I've already received a promotion code but I'm having trouble with purchasing it on the Ikon Pass website. What do I do?

Please contact college@alterramtnco.com. After you've received a promotion code, Brandeis cannot help you further with any Ikon Pass-related issues.

Does the club organize Ikon-based trips?

Yes, most— if not all— of our non-racing weekend and long-weekend trips are at Ikon-access resorts (e.g., Stratton, Killington, Sugarbush). Having the pass makes participation in these trips much more affordable.

When should I buy the Ikon Pass?

The best deals happen early in the season (spring and early fall). Prices typically increase as winter approaches. Typically, passes sales for the season close at the end of November.
